Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a straightforward 30‑day money‑back guarantee on all new hosting plans (Starter, Business, Pro). If you’re not satisfied within the first 30 days, you can request a full refund of your hosting plan fee—no questions asked.
2. Refund Eligibility
- Hosting Plans: Eligible for refund if canceled within 30 days of purchase. After that period, plans renew automatically but are no longer refundable.
- Domain Registrations & Transfers: Cannot be refunded once completed—domain purchases are final.
- Renewals: Any payments made for renewals are not refundable.
3. How Refunds Are Processed
Submit your refund request by contacting support@smartercloud.co with your account information and cancellation request. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
4. Prorated Refund Option (Annual Plans)
If you’ve pre‑paid for an annual hosting plan and cancel after 30 days but before 6 months, your refund will be prorated:
Refund = Annual Fee – (Daily Rate × Days Used)
For example, if prepaid £120/year and you cancel after 90 days:
Daily Rate = 120 / 365 = £0.33
Refund = 120 – (0.33 × 90) = ~£90.30
5. Cancellation Process
To cancel:
- Log in to your Smarter Cloud account and disable auto-renew, or
- Email support@smartercloud.co.uk with your account name and reason for cancellation.
Your services remain active until the end of the paid period.
6. Payment Gateway Fees
Refunds do not include any transaction or processing fees charged by payment providers (e.g., Stripe). These fees may be deducted from your refund.
7. Exceptions & Discretion
Refunds are void for accounts suspended due to violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to deny refund requests at our discretion under these circumstances.
8. Policy Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be published on our website and updated here. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
